Galatians 5:25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. (NIV)

Walking is good for me.

It’s good for my body and my soul.

With a clear mind, and ears hearing the smallest bird that sings, my legs are strengthening as I increase the distance.

The wild turkeys hide from me.

While combing the neighborhood through which I walk, they quickly disappear when hearing

my approaching footsteps.

The little bird whose voice is heard from the tallest tree, cannot be seen among the leaves.  Yet, his song is loud and clear.

 His song belies his size.

My mind is active as I walk and ponder unsolved problems.

Bits of conversation and snippets of once learned lyrics

skip through my thoughts.

I feel alive and in step with the Spirit.

Prayer:  Lord, let me walk with you every day of my life.

Loved to write since high the years pass memories and relationships are primary. (There is also room for an opinion or two.) Feeling good at the age of eighty-five, I'm enjoying life and a hobby of photography. We've lived on this small farm for sixty-one years. In the course of time we welcomed three sons, two grandkids, and 3 greats. We owned and operated an Ace Hardware and a Hallmark Shop and managed to raise sheep for ten years. My husband and I shared sixty-two years of marriage before his passing in 2017. A son has also passed on to the next life, Memories really are "Made From This". Welcome to my world!
